‘ The bigger the brain the smaller the mind’ (olde Norse saying)
Where there’s life there’s cheese. Or, to put it another way , where there’s cheese there’s life , because life forms are necessary to the making of cheese. It needs insects to nurture the soil, to make the grass grow, to feed the cows , to milk them and to churn the milk into cheese. And cheese-making life forms only exist on this planet. And so long as earth is the only planet with life on it, it leads us to this startling conclusion – all the cheese in the universe is on this planet. We don’t know whether life forms even exist elsewhere, let alone what they think of our hogging all the cheese. There is evidence that somebody somewhere far away in the space-time continuum has been trying the get in touch with us. The Giai Project has detected signals from outer space . These Fast Radio Bursts as they call them are pulse surges lasting anything from millionths of a millisecond to something slightly less . They come from somewhere outside this solar system and even outside this galaxy . The next galaxy to our Milky Way way is Andromeda which is 2.5 million light years away and is hurling towards us at 250,000 miles an hour and is due to collide with us in 4.5 billion years from now. With that much advance notice it‘s a bit far fetched to think that the alien signals are intended to warn us of their approach .So what are these messages telling us ? Well, from what we know so far, what they want to say to us could only be one thing: ‘Please could you pass the cheese’.
